When I asked my GP to refer me to the Nuffield he said chose a surgeon and let him know and then he can address it personally.  I asked how do I chose one and he said look on t'internet at orthopedic surgeons who work there and see which one you fancy.  So I did.  I chose one that obviously spoke English because I have trouble with foreign accents.:-)

Thanks for all your good wishes ladies, I really appreciate them, it's nice to know you're all thinking of me.  I guess I'd better go to bed now.  I'm glad I have to be there so early in the morning (7am) so I won't have too much time to worry.
