Chaldon AnimaL Sanctuary needs your vote

I have nominated Chaldon Animal Sanctuary for The Big Break charity give-away this month.  (I think Yorkshire Cat Rescue won £100 last month - I am just waiting for confirmation from Sara.)

Please can you vote for Liz and her furries - and try to get them and keep them in the top 22 of the listed charities.  CAS will receive £100 if we can do that.

Share on facebook, google groups and twitter to encourage family and friends to lend their support.  £100 would really help Liz with the running costs of the sanctuary - it would buy about 12 days' food the animals.

Thank you to Miss S.  That's the sort of inventive ideas we need to get the votes in for Chaldon.  Sara had a look at the group of 100 charities last night and said that Chaldon is up against a number of really big national charities who will only need to send out one message and 1,000s of votes will flood in. 

We will have to work hard to keep Chaldon in the top 22

We know from last month's experience (Yorkshire Cat Rescue - formerly Haworth Cat Rescue) that the 'relatively safe space' to be is 8th-10th place throughout because we can react in a very positive way if our chosen charity starts to drop).  

Last month, at this same time, YCR was in 1st place.  They were soon taken over by the bigger charities who only have to send out ONE message asking for support and their 1,000s of followers voted. 

Chaldon is much smaller, so we have to be much more proactive. 

Thank you to everyone who is being inventive in finding votes.  I spent 30 minutes on a video Skype to a friend in Germany last night.  She is going to get her 3 teenage boys to get the German votes on facebook! 

"Nil points"?  Nah, they are on the case!

We all need to be so tenacious this month.  Chaldon doesn't have the number of online supporters that major charities have! 

It was hard enough last month trying to get £100 for Yorkshire Cat Rescue (formerly Haworth Cat Rescue), but this month will be so much more difficult for Liz and her furries.
