Chaldon AnimaL Sanctuary needs your vote

I have nominated Chaldon Animal Sanctuary for The Big Break charity give-away this month.  (I think Yorkshire Cat Rescue won £100 last month - I am just waiting for confirmation from Sara.)

Please can you vote for Liz and her furries - and try to get them and keep them in the top 22 of the listed charities.  CAS will receive £100 if we can do that.

Share on facebook, google groups and twitter to encourage family and friends to lend their support.  £100 would really help Liz with the running costs of the sanctuary - it would buy about 12 days' food the animals.

Thank you to everyone who has voted so far...... I have spoken to Liz this afternoon and just the fact that she nominated and is now supported has touched her heart.

There are two ways you can vote:

1. Facebook account

2. Google Mail account

If you don't do Facebook, then it is very easy to set up a Google mail account so that you can vote.  I helped a few friends and family to set up Google accounts last month for friends who didn't do Facebook (and many of us don't!)

I should also say that Liz will be doing her bit..... she is going to email all her supporters to ask them to vote. 

Thanks to mrs stan for getting a message to me to say how people can vote - I think I need to share that with Liz for her email to Friends of Chaldon.  So thank you mrs stan.  We could have 'missed a trick' there.

If you are on Liz's email list and you get another email from her asking for votes (we got one about the Easter newsletter last week) please understand that she has to use her mailing list to reach those supporters who are not on eBay/FHG.  Liz was worried about sending 2 emails in quick succession.  I thought it would be okay.

Well-done everyone! 

You got Chaldon Animal Sanctuary 39 votes so far (16th place)

This is only the beginning though.

It took 309 votes to keep Yorkshire Cat Rescue in the top 22 for a month.

However, there are some 'bigger charities this month  - with big hits/followers/techie skills that Chaldon are up against.  22nd place will be fine for Liz and the furries.  That wins them £100.

Having worked with Yorkshire Cat Rescue last month, I know that you need to keep Chaldon Animal Sanctuary round about 9th-13th place throughout the voting. 

Gird up your loins and see if we can pull off £100 for Liz and the furries.  :^O

Liz can't believe what you have all achieved in less than 12 hours (I only got the confirmation that Chaldon Animal Sanctaury had been accepted into the competition at 11.50am today!)
