Cant post smilies

I dont mean the ones above the posting box ie this sort

I have a selection of smilies that work fine on other forums, but dont work on this one. I see that other people manage to post them, so what is the difference? What am I doing wrong?

Yes, when I posted "testing" I tried to C&P an image using the link you gave - which is actually the same site that I tried to post from earlier.

BTW, Im using firefox here as I usually  find that its best for ebay.

you are using bb, ed appears to be using the url button

No, it appears not, but that's what ed was using if you check the code

I just right click on the picture then go back to the message right click again and press paste nort technical for me.

Thats what I did too, ed, and thats what I do on other forums, but it doesnt seem to work for me on this forum, even using url coding button

that one i posted  was my first try

it was on the site  a few posts  up

i just  right clecked  , selected copy  image and then cntV  into the posting pane

im on  firefox

The radio buttons don't appear to work on lithium, which is what I understood , but of you copy and paste the image as ed said it will appear in the message box - as an image

So, dont use the links just copy and paste, if the image appears in the message box, you win

Windows here.  Wish I could work out how to add smilies on my phone, but that's a whole new story.

your phone's  probably an  android  OS

maybe a windows phone would  work

Give it another go, copy image - right click on it

then paste in message box, the image will then appear

forget the buttons

Yes, I can if I use the full page, not the mobile version, but that is so hard to read I have to keep making it bigger then smaller and on and on and on and on................................
