CANDY CRUSH and FARM HEROES on facebook

If anybody out there can help me it would be appreciated. I play the above two games via facebook and on both games have reached a level where I have been for TWO weeks and cannot finish the game. I have tried to use You Tube but it is not that helpful. Can anybody shed any light on where I can get some tips....but written down. I am getting so frustrated with them I am thinking of giving up.

I also am not addicted at all, i never sneak in a quick game or two during my lunch break, I hardly ever ask for lives and at no time have I ever turned my phone on when I can't sleep just to try and complete a level ...............

Stuck on level 140 and its driving me insane !!!!!!

I gave up on CC when the chicolate appeared, I refuse to be beaten by chocolate.
I now play Diamond Dash as my brother in law kept sending me requests, he probably regrets it now as the one thing that keeps me going id beating him in the weekly tournament
