MID-WEEK tea thread

So....we are at midweek.

Tonight we are having bangers and buttery mash with carrots, cabbage, onion gravy and maybe an Aunt Bessies yorkie will find it's way on to the plate.

Pudding tonight is a Co-op salted caramel cookie

Rose, I read that you were trying to lose a little weight? I think you need some advice because scotch eggs aren't going to help you one bit. Give me a shout if I can help. Smiley Happy

I felt like a change ok?

The salad bit is good Rose but what you are having with your salads are far from being low calorie. Try some chicken or other cold meats or a piece of fish.

Beef stew.

Just had a taste and it nearly knocked my block off.  Son cooked it with a little phone help from me si it has no parsnips, probably no swede, defo no tomatoes but loads of chili and garlic. Hmm..  Just waiting for it to cook together.  Going to be yummy.

Had chicken & veg casserole & roasties at my daughters as I was babysitting.
Rose, I have a lot of salads for the same reason as you, has to be things like lean chicken, lean ham (not the processed stuff) or prawns to make it work having. High fat/calorie stuff like quiche & scotch eggs defeat the object

I don't think Rose comes back into these threads after she has posted. She's either sleeping it off or down the gym.
