Like the skiffle group idea, whats a skiffle group?
A Skiffle Group is a group of musicians who made their own instruments out of everyday things...the bass was a tea chest with a broom handle and a bit of string,guitars where made from cigar boxes I think (don't quote me on that) and there was usually a washboard, played with thimbles on the fingers,as percussion......

That was on telly last night about him and Skiffle bands.. I dont think the idea lasted long ha ha ha...
I missed that 
can you remember what station it was on?....may be I can get it on catch up or something?...
They started in the late 50's Rose and there are still skiffle groups about today so that's pretty good going in my book ...
