Been to Hull

Had a day out in Hull today; never been before and was pleasantly surprised. Was great to look round the huge variety of stores and visit Prince's Quay and the Marina. Made me realise how much I miss living near a city. Will defo go there again. Only thing that spoilt it was the miserable, damp weather.

My Dad lives inn Hull and we've  stayed a couple of times at the Holiday Inn down at the marina, it was lovely.

I am off up that way in a few hours, going to stay with Mum for the weekend at Cottingham 🙂

Away to pack the car up now, have a good weekend everyone 🙂

My Great Grandfather was a blockmaker for the sailing ships in Hull.

Unfortunately, I've never been to Hull...but I do know it was the birthplace of one of my favourite singers..David Whitfield..:-x
