I'll admit it, not a programme I watch.  However I've just had the misfortune to watch the last few minutes of this evenings results show.  There is something so wrong with having young children aged 5-8 years pleading to go through the final and clinging to the presenters as if their lives depended on it.  I see it as exploitation.

By whom?...

Their parents who took them to the show?

I think if your little darling is the type that is already going to stage school or dance classes, and can perform in front of thousands of people, they can be taught to cling to a producer for effect.;\
