Anybody else got problems with yahoo mail?

Can get the page to sort of load after an eternity (literally hours!) of it trying to actually connect but whilst the topics are listed down the left hand side as usual - inbox, trash, spam, drafts etc - nothing happens when I click on any of them.

It's been like this for a couple of days - most frustrating.

Don't like this "new, improved version" either.

Mine plays up sometimes but is fine today. You can get it to look a bit like the older version in the settings. First thing I did was turn off the 'conversation' thing! If you can get onto Google see if there is a problem with Yahoo in your area.

gmail not loading either so I'm email-less completely. Apologies to anybody waiting for a reply but I'm snookered 😞

Mine plays up sometimes too and I hate the new layout! Wish I could get it back to the Classic Mail.

I really dislike the new format ..... so much so that I hardly even bother to check my emails anymore, I rely on my phone instead, I often use to read the yahoo home page but I constantly have to sign in & now I've given up & once its signed me out I stay out ..... i could end up signing in about three times before I actually got in

It may be your internet provider - a couple of weeks ago I couldn't get into my hotmail and it turned out that Virgin Media had their website address servers in a twist.

Still no luck 😞   Tried plusnet but they said it's nothing to do with them as I can connect to other web pages so the nice man suggested the yahoo help pages online............................................what a nightmare. Going round & round in circles but not actually getting anywhere 😞

Still none the wiser & no further forward. Was going to change to another email addy but can't get into yahoo to copy all my contacts.

This is a pain. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrr

I'm sure my head will be fine once I can stop banging it against this handy brick wall.

which browsers have you tried to access the mail sites?

No, it's worked fine since he accessed it - it's only been playing up for a few days, though it seems like forever! Unfortnately, I can't blame him for this one!

Tried IE as usual, then google chrome - won't work on either although the gmail addy is working spasmodically today.

Ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!  We have lift off.

Downloaded all the daily updates yesterday, selected yahoo mail & up it came. No idea why these particular updates worked when the previous days' have had no effect whatsoever, but it's working now 🙂

Merc - worth a try if your's is still playing silly boogers?  Be warned though - there's over 600 emails in my inbox.................... I could be gone some time!

I too hate their 'improved' update. Can you believe they got rid of the tabs? It's so infuriating not being able to open more than one email at once, or even open up one while you are composing an email. In the past if you wanted to cross reference, you could open up as many emails as you wanted. But now it saves the email you are composing to drafts if you need to open up a different one, Grrrrr Ridiculous 

I'm also having problems retrieving new messages. I seem to have to refresh the page instead. It tell me I have unread messages but they ain't there until I refresh. Clicking on the inbox doesn't seem to work.
