Been out on the trains again today; interesting coincidence... setting off this morning on the same train as me was one of the Sisters from church. She also got the same Underground train as me and there is another coincidence - she was going to Barnstaple for a few days... same place as my parents are currently on holiday at!
Needless to say, she was asking my advice on crossing London ( Waterloo to Paddington ) and I pointed out there is a direct Waterloo - Exeter service which would be easier for her ( she goes to Devon semi regularly ).
Now, the really interesting thing... There I am, helping a nun, and having done so I surface from the Underground at Baker Street ( having gone the extra three tops to Paddington to show her the quickest and easiest way to the main line platforms ) and as soon as I get up onto the Metropolitan Line platform, the train rolling in at that very moment is one ( of the old ones ) that I have been looking for to get a of photo literally for months and it is finally formed up the right way round for me to get my photo after always having previously been the wrong way round!:^O
Is someone up there watching me?!?:|
