Re: ALL NEW Competition Thread...Last Post WINS ;-)

Evening all:-)

Sorry - no idea of Foxy's phone number.

Just had a thought, though - could be worth Googling his name with the word windmills added to the search...?

Meanwhile, another busy day today:

Supermarket trip.
Repair two toys.
Repair one wooden letter opener.
Start work on new painting ( drawn the outlines on the panel ).

And finally managed to perfect the creation of bread and butter pudding - at last it did not separate under the bread.:-)

Morning all:-)

Missed it last night Leo - forgot to look!  Seen the shuttles many times though; in fact I've seen all of them including the two that crashed.

Did get some astronomy in later on though.

Re: ALL NEW Competition Thread...Last Post WINS ;-)

Here's one I finished a couple of weeks ago.

This one was unplanned - when I was doing the house one for Leo our daughter made a loud noise just as I was getting the blue paint out of the tube to do the sky and I suddenly found myself with far too much blue paint on the palette!

Needing to think very quickly ( being unwilling to waste the excess paint! ) I had to find a subject that needed lots of blue; a ship at sea was the obvious choice. I don't really like doing unplanned pictures as I like to know in detail what I am going to be doing before I start, but needs must in this case!

So, having been started in a hurry it doesn't actually represent any real ship, it does however include a lot of features that would place it in the late 1920s / early 1930s.

It is 14 x 10 inches in size.

And no, it isn't sailing uphill - the photo is slightly crooked and I couldn't straighten it up completely; it was done on a borrowed camera so I'm stuck with this image for now.....
