Why has eBay taken away custom delivery for items 100-250 grams- costs more to send than item cost

Why has eBay removed custom delivery for items 100-250 grams. Now some of my paperbacks cost as much if not more to send then to but especially small digest size booklets.? Also magazine listing do not allow you to put down size so have ended up putting a 49 grams item selling with £2.70 delivery cost !!

Most sellers do not want simple delivery. we want to do our own custom delivery.  currently able to send a £9.99 item for 87p 2nd class with proof of posting.  up to £20 compensation if item fails to arrive. ebay now are dictating to sellers to buy postage through them to the tune of £2.70 rip off.  I see a large footfall of sellers deserting ebay.

From yesterday you can send these over 100g Large Letter items using Custom Postage again!
