I am having great difficulty getting a refund for an item way past the promised delivery dates, several dates in fact. Getting response from the seller is like pulling teeth. I have tried contacting E Bay direct , but that is a no go as the instructions send me in all directions. When they send verification codes, I get told to sign in again and by then the code has expired. Please help me somebody, preferably in Peter and Jane language.

You only have 30 days from estimated delivery date to open an 'Item not received' case ... follow the instructions carefully, escalate to eBay after 4 days and do not close case until satisfactory conclusion.

Outside 30 days ... PayPal allow 180 days(now ?120 ) for a case if paid using PayPal at checkout ...
otherwise, check with your Bank/Card provider for advice.

Me too, e bay won't step until help, keep delaying my be appeal every 10 days. No parcel or refund in disgusted at both parties
