Receiving Seller Offers on items Viewed but NOT in my Watch List! Again!

Ebay please note! If I am in the least bit interested in purchasing an item I will add it to my watch list, I neither want nor need unsolicited messages offering me discounts on everything I look at. I also have no wish to take 'advantage' of ebay postal services, I will find my own at a lower rate thank you. These and other things, particularly the removal of seller fees, which is the only good policy ebay ever introduced, are surely indicative of how much market share ebay is losing to Amazon, Etsy and the plethora of other new buying/selling platforms out there. Ridiculous ideas like those above will only succeed in driving more users away.

You could open a private or incognito window in your browser when just looking, and only use a normal signed-in window when watching or buying.

Amazon doesn't have half the stuff on eBay though, especially used items member to member, Etsy seems to be mostly for personalised gifts, are you really getting that many seller offers of items you didn't watch? I get those rarely. Royal mail click and drop and ebay is the same price.
