Damaged returns

I sold an item on ebay and the buyer asked to return which I accepted. On return of a parcel I always video the unpacking of the parcel, showing that the parcel is sealed. When I unwrapped the parcel on video showing the item was damaged and there was items missing I contacted eBay. Ebay sent me an affidavit form to fill in and sign, this stated I was telling the truth and could be prosected. Ebay then contacted me to say they found in the favour of the buyer and took the funds from my account. They told me theywere not able to look at any evidence I had because they are an online plateform and do not look at any photographic evidence. So I am now left with a £200 damaged item thats incomplete.

This returns process of eBay is a shame as there is no way a seller is going to be compensated for  fradulent  scam buyers returning goods.
