Cycle Pump Exploded

Hi , I purchased a cycle pump last week and it turned up , tried to blow up a bike tyre and the pump whent hard and then exploded all over the living room injuring me , cuts and bruises ,  told the seller and he said I will send another pump , that turned up yesterday and did the same and jammed ???

Did you open an item not as described case the first time? Or did you just ask the seller for a replacement?

If you didn't open a case then, open one now if you are still in time You get 30 days from the date the first pump arrived. The seller gets 4 days to refund and if he wants the items back he must send you a tracked paid for label.  You will be refunded when the tracking shows delivered or attempred delivery.

There is no provision to claim for consequential damage, you can only claim for the item you paid for. If the seller was a UK business you can complain to trading standards via Citizens Advice.
