Cancellation feedback

Recently bid in error and the seller was quick to cancel but Ebay still asked for the usual feedback including 'was it delivered on time' as though it was an actual purchase.

I just added positive feedback and a comment.

Not a real problem but it seems stupid that Ebay are still using the same feedback form.

Yep,  those feedback reminders are sent automatically to one and all. Mine sometimes arrive for a book I purchased,  but one day after I received the book.  Now I'm a very fast reader but......   🤔 !

Feedback at the end of the day is voluntary, ignore those reminders,  or set your site preferences not to receive them, and leave feedback when and if you wish to.  You have 60 days in which to leave feedback.
