seller changed discription after i paid

I recently bought 6 beehives with bees from a sell after payment i contacted sell for collection address seller informs me that there are only 5 bee hives as he has sold one elsewhere and i would under stand 

i contacted ebay for a refund said i had changed my mind as ther was no where to say seller had changed what was for sale item (not as described) seller rejected refund emailed saying some one is buying the behives that day at a higher price and that ebay will be keeping my money, later late day seller mailed ne saying ebay wont let hime cancel the order What is my next set to take

Do you have the option to request cancellation of the order - in the order page?

Otherwise do you have the option to open an Item not received case?

You shouldn't have raised not a item not as described case, as you didn't have anything (if I understand correctly.) You may or may not be escalate that rejected case to ebay - I don't remember the options.

Otherwise talk to customer services.

In any case ebay doesn't allow the sale of live animals.

When you say you contacted Ebay for a refund and said you had changed your mind, do you mean that you opened a return, or did you ask to cancel the sale?

If the seller was able to reject the refund, it sounds as if you opened a case saying you wanted to return the item because you had changed your mind.

The usual advice would be to wait until 7 days after the sale and then open an 'item not received' case.  You can normally do that even with a collection only item.

However, if you did try to start a return, which the seller refused, you may need to contact Ebay, explain the situation , and see if they can help.

Where all these six offered in one order or where they a single hive with 6 available.?

Either way the only way to get this activated for the correct reason is to call CS

use this link eBay Customer Service although currently an 18min wait so may want to wait till later.

The correct reason is listing is "not as described"

I'd also report the seller for a) listing live animals b) offering thing not actually for sale it's in the T & C's that you can only list what you actually have.

They do allow a bit of leeway on that as in things get broken or mistakes are made

(Ebay has a history of relisting things already sold some times from years ago.)

But in this case they sold it elsewhere which is a clear breach of the T&C's

hi yes all 6 were listed as one lot with 6 pictures cost over £1200

Get cs to ring you as the listing is not as described explain your position, but reason should have been not as described as he is only selling 5 and the advert was for 6 refer then to your messages. as long as they are on ebay they can read them. 

So one lot of 6 beehives or 1 listing with add 6 to the order?

Just  re read tour original statement you should be able to cancel your self at your end.

As stated in post 3 you should be able to open a not received case and get your money back that way.

But you will probably have to wait about a week before eBay's automated system let's you do it.

A case for item not received is what you need.  You usually need to wait for about a week after the sale before you can open one for a collection item.

Cases for not as described are only for when you have something to return.

Hopefully you didn't give the seller the collection code.
