no notifications after saving a shop to favourites

I selected some shops to my favourites but I am never notified by email or directly on ebay when they list something new. Where can I find the option in settings to change that?

It looks like Ebay have removed the tick box to receive emails when you click on save seller, which is how it used to work,

Having a look around, if you save the seller, & then under the main menu go down to 'Saved Sellers' you will get a list of them.

Next to each name there are 3 small vertical dots.

If you click on these there is a 'Subscribe to newsletter'

I've not tried it, so not sure if it then notifies you of new listed items, but it might.

The spiel states:

A new look for saved sellers

Keep track of the latest inventory from your saved sellers and manage your subscriptions to seller newsletters with deals and recommendations.

Thank you! I just did that and let's see what happens. I buy collectables so I do need to know as soon as possible when something new is listed. I wonder what is actually the point of me adding a shop to favourites or asking my buyers to add my shop to their favourites. I think it became a pretty meaningless feature.

Yes, it's an odd change - the tick box worked & advised email updates will be sent - easy.

They've also removed my seller notes after updates, more than once, & so I no longer know why I've added the sellers in the first place.

Fingers crossed the newsletter will do the same...
