Very slow delivery times since the changes on Feb 4th.

Anyone else noticing this?...before the changes were brought in i'd order something and it would be on my doorstep within 2-5 days max...now seem to be waiting well over a week for pretty much everything.

Are sellers thinking "soddit,if i've got to wait for my payments to come in then i'm not rushing to send stuff out".....?

I have to echo what all other customers are saying. The only my orders arrive on the day the seller says is when the seller uses DPD for TV, Computers etc. Other orders can now take up to 2 weeks. Frustrating if the item is important. Ebay must be desperate my last item (laptop) had a huge July bonus discount of £62. Is being delivered by DPD tomorrow. Would have been today but I changed it. Ordered it Friday, weekend in between so in effectively 3 days. So it can be done.

Iv noticed evri are holding items at the delivery depot for longer now, two sometimes three days, its very frustrating. iv got two items right now just sat at the delivery depot for days. before simple delivery if an item reached the delivery depot early enough it would be delivered same day.

I always find evri seems to take longer anyway never use them.

Royal mail tracking and delivery seems to have gone back to normal now or near as normal

yes ive been noticing this,  sellers dispatch quickly, but takes nearly a week for a items to arrive for RM tracked 48hr.

I've noticed that you can remove Evri from your courier options. I've switched Evri off on my couriers list just leaving just Royal Mail and DHL (I don't think DHL can be turned off). Life just got a whole lot easier.😀

Do note by removing Evri it does increase the price of the postage presented to the customers 

and eBay can still switch to Evri in the event Royal Mail can’t take your order.

If using Royal Mail increases the cost to customers, it isn't by much and seems a small price to pay for a far superior service.

Before simple delivery was introduced, I always used to send via Royal Mail Tracked 48 and had several instances of items arriving the next day.

Evri seems to impose a compulsory 3 days sitting in a sorting hub for whatever reason, I have no idea.

In short, I'd expect to pay a little more for a service that is twice as fast as the cheaper alternative.

Never use Evri.

Have always used Royal mail and have always been delivered within the 48 hrs some even next day .

Evri are bloody pathetic! I'm not going to purchase anything from eBay which is being delivered by Evri! They need to be fined for late deliveries.

I'm still waiting for my last parcel 3 days late so far!
