The new promoted listings option coming on the 15th

This has caught my eye and I will be looking hard at it and giving it a try.  The current version was just proving too expensive. I am primarly a seller here and am wondering what buyers feel about it. As an occasional buyer on eBay, I like to see Search Returns that exactly match my keyword, category and filter selections without them being interfered with by other paid-for choices thrust in front of me. What are your thoughts?

Will it work best for "advertised products"? I can see that razor blades , coffee mugs and lipstick need advertising and more advertising as there are so many choices and vendors on- and offline.

Speaking as a buyer, I'm not interested in eBay's ideas of what I want to buy. If I can't find what I want on a simple listing, I shop elswhere.

It doesnt matter what ebay promote if its not what the buyer wants they will ignore it.

I tend to go for cheapest item rather than a more expensive promoted item.
