Hi @roger_roger_over_and_nowt ,
Thank you for your post.
From checking some sample listings the information about being a private/business seller is showing on the listings. Do you have a listing number I can check?
Thank you,
Kat

Hi Kat,thanks for responding.
Basically it's any listing i look at but this was the first 1 i noticed :- 315472824178
Where it normally says business it is blank apart from a small arrow to the right. When i click on that arrow i get all the postage info and seller's status.I will see if i can post a screenshot.

Thanks for the listing number. I understand what you mean as it previously showed under the username details. This detail has now moved so you need to click on the arrow beside the username details and it shows towards the top left hand side in the pop up page.
Thank you,
Kat

Why has it moved to the small arrow when i buy i want to see at a glance who i am dealing with, private or a business, the rights you have with them are so different should things go wrong.
An extra click is just a complete faff.

Checked adverts on my Business Account and a relative's Private Account.
All listings/adverts have had Business & Private removed from the top of the Adverts.
I rolled down the Business and Private Adverts and the Accounts Type of Registration is shown at the bottom.
It seems that eBay want possible Buyers to click on each Advert to gain the full information which is time consuming and leads to Sellers sending out Offers thinking they may get a sale.

I doubt eBay want buyers to click through to see what is what.
I noticed yesterday here that they released "Seller reports", not "Business Seller reports"
I think they are trying to muddy the waters, make everyone look the same.
So I guess soon we are either all Business Sellers or all Private Sellers depending on what is more useful to them.
Further to that, has anyone actually looked at the exact wording on BPF and Fund Holding.
Do they refer to Private Sellers or Sellers?
If it's the latter the Business crowd should be getting nervous about now.

Probably to hide the fact that buyers are being ripped off having to pay the BPF on purchases from business sellers on private accounts!

Perhaps, eBay will get payment/s from Private & Business Seller's Promoted listings on all the clicking casual lookers will have to do to see if the Advert is Registered Private or Business Seller.

Not seeing whether a seller is a business or private seller on any listings today ?.
The Seller's Status is back at the top of their adverts.

Yes it is this leads me to believe the mods just spin us a yarn, i was told on the chat it has been moved to an extra click the little arrow to the right, now it seems it has been replaced so seems it was a glitch or the complaints have changed their mind
