Item 256938229949
Interested in thoughts on this one.
Basically I have a broken one - failed motor bearings which tends to be the only thing that kills these.
I took a chance on this item (mainly on the basis that even though spares/repair if it turned out that somehow the motor had blown up or melted rendering it worthless scrap and not worth £95 I could return under DSR as it's a business seller).
Anyway, it arrived and on opening it - there's nothing inside it - it's just an empty shell - no motor, switch or grinder! Very strange, on looking at the sticker the serial number section is completely blank. I think it's an ex display shell - like those pretend TVs they have in furniture shops.
I returned it under DSR ( said it didn't fit) and paid £6 postage - I've sort of given the seller the benefit of the doubt (seems to be a typical seller of auction/pallet/returns type stuff so no an expert on waste disposals).
I just wonder where I stand if I'd tried a NAD return - was spares/repair but not described as an empty shell/display model?
It's been relisted - should I "warn" the seller that he's potentially on dodgy ground?
