Can someone help, I was directed here from another board. I bought an item that does not work and I have to return it, however when I print the label it is only 2kg but the product is heavier. I will have to carry this to the Post Office which is really annoying me as the PO is not near and I did not expect to buy an item that was completely useless and then have to drag it to the Post Office just because the company obviously did not test it before sending out. Anyway, how do I get a label that will cover the cost. The seller does not reply quickly and I just want to get it sent back. Thanks

As the seller is not being helpful, contact eBay Customer Services explain the received label is inadequate ask if they can send you the correct label as the item needs to be returned soon.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I do recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Just to update they did refund me so it worked out in the end. I am glad I did not have to carry it to the post office! But thank you so much for taking your time to help and it is good to know what to do, in the event of any problems in the future.

Just for future reference Royal Mail would have collected the parcel from you for 30p. Go to their web-site and click on "Arrange a Collection." That will ask you for the number on the label you have, confirm your address and get you to pay. You don't have to be in at the time if you can leave the parcel in a "Safe place." Having to pay anything is a bit annoying I know but it's worth it to not have to take a heavy item to the PO.
