Hey , So i was just wondering about Feedback
Example , say if i have a negative experience with a seller, and i might want to leave a Neutral or even a Negative feedback, doesnt it mean they can just write a negative one to me even if i have paid instantly, and did nothing wrong myself ?
Thanks

Sellers can't leave negative feedback, for the very reason you outlined. They can also be penalised for leaving a "negative positive" response. Sellers actuaslly get very little protection from eBay.

If a seller ever uses Positive Feedback to retaliate this is called a 'false positive' and you can report it to eBay to have it removed.

Thanks for the replies, ive never sold on ebay so i dont know what its like as a seller but im a very honest buyer ive had things delivered of high value without the seller getting delivery confirmation or a code and i always just do the right thing i wouldnt sleep at night otherwise , i still find ebay awesome for buying unique items

adding to the advice already given -
Many sellers will block buyers with private feedback.

What problem are you having?

Sellers can reply to your feedback. Their comment would appear immediately below your feedback.* It's not intended for any to-and-fro, which if needed is better done before you leave any feedback, to give the seller an early chance to learn of any problem and to help.
Don't forget you don't need to rush, as you have up to 60 days to leave feedback from the date you receive the goods or from the estimated delivery date (known as EDD) whichever is sooner.
*details: the seller can respond as long as the feedback is still visible, can reply only once, can't edit or retract their reply. Buyers can add a follow-up comment but time limits are tied to the feedback window (see above), but can't add more unless a seller requests a feedback revision (there's a protocol and time limit) - it's a good idea to re-read the site FAQ about this.
