Invoice

I am a private seller, am I required to issue a VAT invoice? I sold seeds for 3.99, and eBay added a Buyer Protection fee of £0.88. The buyer is asking for an invoice. I have never been asked for this before.

The invoice system is currently broken. eBay have said they are aware and trying to fix it. As of yesterday.

You are a Private seller so have no way to issue invoices,  and do not need to be registered for VAT purposes.

Explain this to the buyer,  and inform them the nearest they will get to an ' invoice' ,  is to print off the order details for the item.  It will show details of the item purchased,  price and date purchased.
