HELLO EBAY

On every listing,  eBay have their 30 day MBG ,  Money Back Guarantee policy.  This covers buyers for when they receive an item not as described,  to receive a full refund.

Proceed this way now:

If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery you are guaranteed a full refund,  under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy.

Just proceed this way:

You have received an item not as described,  go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select... Return this item selecting the reason Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.

The seller needs to accept this case within 3 days and refund,  if they want their item back first , they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage, then on receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you.  If they don't ,  need to escalate the case,  ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.

Never listen to any excuse or promise from the seller to close the case early,  and do not forget to escalate.

Read eBay's 30 day MBG from the link below,  it will advise how to proceed in these situations,  and that you are protected with receiving a full refund if you open a case ,  and follow the steps there correctly.

HELLO EBAY

If wrong item was received just open a not as described claim via Ebays MBG.

See :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-poli...

It matters not if seller doesn't accept returns.Ignore seller completely and ask Ebay to step in after 4 working days if seller hasn't sorted it by then.Seller pays return cost via a prepaid returns label.

HELLO EBAY

It maybe a genuine mistake. I have on rare occasions sent the wrong item to a customer. When you are dealing with many orders a day the odd mistake will happen.

First thing is to talk to the seller so they are aware of the issue. They may well want to sort it out with you.

However you are covered by the ebay money back guarantee if the seller isnt helpful. You should raise a return request for item not as described. Make sure you do this within 30 days if the seller hasn't been helpful in resolving the issue.
