I recently ordered some printer inks on ebay. On my order was a space to let the seller know anything relevant. I entered Royal Mail best . This being stated in policy and conditions. That was too easy so it went via Neviry as I call it, the delay was really poor and I got emails on Three days stating delivery today. When I finally got my order it was a relief. I posted negative feedback to ebay thinking thats it, not claiming refund just feedback as requested. I then received an unsolicited email from the seller politely saying that if I would amend my feedback they would gladly give me a refund, I thought that was an excellent offer so I replied YES and many thanks for follow up. No further response , no refund but ebay removed my feedback without consideration of promise made by the seller. Hence I am very disappointed with handling of my issue .GJ

You were lied to by the seller, you agreed to the feedback being removed perhaps this ' permission' was all the seller needed to contact CS and have the feedback removed.
Do remember, if a reasonable time passes your item's last estimated date for delivery you can open a case for item not as described, and receive a full refund.
Never listen to a seller's promises as you can see , they cannot be enforced, and be broken , just follow the rules of eBay's 30 day MBG here:

I presume you mean Item not Received?
You cant open an item not as described if you haven't received it?

I think you misunderstood the issue which was Item received late. I did not start a case for anything. I did leave negative feedback which generated an very polite email from seller stating they would issue a refund if I would amend my feedback, this I thought to be a very good offer and responded to seller YES please. Emails then stopped and no refund. Final email states Ebay took down feedback. This would appear to be a good way of taking down any negative feedback as previous member reply stated. GJ

Just for info. Thanks to your response I contacted ebay today and spoke with a very understanding adviser who actually listened to what I was saying and issued refund. Job done thanks GJ
