Having contacted the vendor before purchase I was informed that a tyre sensor "does not need programming-just fit and it will work."
On receipt I had it fitted ( at a cost) and the fitter agreed that it should be OK to just drive and it would work. However the dash warning message returned shortly afterwards.
As it will cost me to remove it and return it, who is responsible for the fitting, removal and further replacement costs that have been incurred above the purchase price of the item itself?
The sensor cannot be checked prior to fitting.
