Collection only no response from seller

I paid for an item that was collection only from sellers home. Then messaged seller for address and time to collect but got no reply. I messaged a few more times but again no response 4 days ago now. 
I can’t find any help for this on eBay. I still want the item but without any contact from seller I have no way of getting the item. 
All I can find on eBay is to cancel the item but if the seller doesn’t reply or respond I want a refund. I have applied to cancel the item but will eBay do anything if the seller doesn’t let me cancel. How do I get a refund?

Exactly the same problem as you, in every respect. Have you solved your issue now? I’d be interested to know how, if you have.

The solution to a refund is to open a case for item not received.

Many thanks. I shall give it the 3 days for a response, then pursue that
course. Grateful for your advice.
