Click and collect not an option on offers...what nonsense!!!

I am aware this has already been raised in discussion. I am starting a new conversation to raise it again and I am hoping eBay will take note.

I found a thread about the issue of not being able to choose C&C when making an offer and only being able to have the purchase delivered to ones home address. The suggested solution was to contact the seller and ask if they would accept the offer, then if they do they would need to amend the listing to the offer price to allow for the option to choose C&C for delivery.

Frankly, this is rediculous. If C&C is available on a listing why on earth is it not available when making an offer on said listing??? There is no reason for this at all. Why does eBay not see this?

I am literally passing by listings now that I would otherwise have considered making an offer on. I don't like having things delivered to my home address for various reasons. It is much more convenient for me to be able to pick it up from argos because there is one at Sainsburys just 2 mins from work so I can easily pop in and pick up my parcel when its convenient for me and I know it is secure there.

Honestly, can eBay please give a valid explanation for this or recognise the fact that it is a glitch and they need to sort it out? I've bought and sold through eBay for years now. They have literally earned thousands from the transactions that have passed through my account. They make billions annually and yet they have these silly little issues that make no sense. They charge an extortionate amount on selling fees!! Sort this out!!!

Click and collect not an option on offers...what nonsense!!!

I have found that the problem does not just apply to C+C when making an offer. I listed an item as Buy it now or make an offer. I offered to either post or collect in person but when a prospective buyer put in an offer, the collection option was not available. Unless someone knows better it seems the only thing that I can do is to add to my description an explanation of this and let prospective buyers know that I will refund the postage cost if the item is collected. What a hassle!

If I go to make an offer on your item then I get both the 'Click & Collect' and 'Collection' options.  They are on the 'Delivery' section not the 'Post to' section.

Has Ebay explained why click and collect  is not available when you submit offers and or submit bids especially when click and collect is shown on the listing.

Click & Collect is available when making an offer, at least it is for me.  You need to click on the 'Delivery' tab not the 'Post to' one.  Not sure about when placing bids though.

Hi, I've checked the delivery option on a couple of items that I submitted an offer and the only options are, standard delivery, express delivery and collect direct from seller. The original listings show the Evri click and collect option.Sent from my Galaxy

In addition, it would be helpful for buyers if you got to choose your payment option/method … i.e. Paypal/CC/Bank Card after your offer is accepted and then be prompted to pay.  This is because you now have to choose the payment method before submitting an offer and you cannot get the same array of options.  Not helpful.

Hopefully Ebay will sort these problems out. There's no point offering a service or function if it doesn't work properly.
