Beware "Courier" Delivery scam

A seller can use "Courier" delivery method where the delivery costs are added AFTER the sale

This is usually for items larger than a regular parcel service (tons of shingle, etc)

I won a small item and seller added £12 delivery for an item that would cost £3.50 48 tracked in Royal Mail

I won an bargain for £30 in auction so the seller just added £500 delivery charge. Yeap £500!!!!!

Seller would not respond

Ebay customer service just acknowledged the delivery charge but did absolutely nothing

I got a strike as a none paying bidder and could not even feedback

One year on and that same seller is still advertising "Courier" delivery for the same scams

Be very aware if the seller is using "Courier" service when a regular parcel service could be used

Seller cannot invoice for additional postage/shipping after the item is sold through an eBay listing ---  between the Seller and you to make suitable arrangements,  or cancel/relist with correct Postage  to purchase again. --- Non arrival ---
