Are private sellers stopping listing ? Are your saved search numbers dropping dramatically ?

New private listings in 2 saved search's that I have had running for years have dropped by very nearly 50% in the last few days .  eBay search can be glitchy at times and not show all listings but not to this extent . Both show a steady marked decline from day to day . 

Anyone else seeing this in categories you search ?

I'm taking all mine off and listing in sets knowing BPF  will soon be added. Then if SD is forced on me that's it really

What do you expect with the new "CON" - "Buyer Protection Fee", being added to all sales by Ebay basically passing seller/extra fees onto the Buyer. What a SCAM!

Whenever eBay make changes, sellers and buyers complain and say "they are leaving the platform" but carry on as normal. However, on this occasion, people seem to mean what they say!

I usually sell a load of specific items every February on here. Stuck them on Facebook marketplace this time and they all sold straight away.

Yes I made less money overall, but I received the money straight away and sold them much quicker. And Facebook didn't ask for a penny from anybody.

I wont be leaving the platform,but I wont be buying anything significant on it any more.

After all theres almost nothing on here I can't get elsewhere,and now I can probably get it cheaper as well !

I'm not selling at the moment and don't know if I ever will again.

And I've been put off buying from private sellers because of the added fees.

Plus nowadays if a business seller has their own website I will buy from them direct if I can and cut eBay out completely.

I have been selling accumulated S/H items from various deceased relatives, neighbours & some donated goods for charity for many years. I have ended all my listings due to 1) The cynical "buyers fees" which at .75p per item is extortionate 2) The fact that for the  first time ever this will be levied on sales that have a % for charity, really nasty that one. 3) The impending postage arrangements. I decide how to post as it is my responsibility that the item reaches my buyer. I buy over the counter at the PO as I want it to stay open. PO's make nothing from prepaid labels. The delay in receiving my money was aggravating but no big deal.

As I no longer sell I do not bother to buy either.

Personal seller account since 2003. My listings are defiantly search surprised; no views or watchers. It's blatant to see. They want me to convert to a business account, yet I already have a 2nd eBay account set up for business. 

I used to pay seller fees on my personal account, and NOBODY had a problem with this. But then some DEI hire at eBay has gone full ret*rd and decided to push sellers away. As a buyer I am also put off this place now.

eBay's desperateness to drum up more business has gone and pushed business away. Only DEI hires are this incompetent, which I why I mentioning it. Because months down the line, this problem, of suppressing personal account listings, will be addressed. 

I've recently opened a Vinted account. I've closed all my listing here. This place is an insult to my intelligence and wisdom.

As a buyer, I have noticed less and less choice in the categories I search . I believe sellers are dropping out. I as a buyer may drop out........
