ebay not answering

I put in a request for a refund on an item which was sold incorrectly. I won this appeal and sent the item back.

i did not recieve the refund, in fact i was told the case had been shut and sent to paypal.

I tried to reopen to get them to look and see that I won the appeal, had sent the item back but not received the refund.

I then got a strange response advising that they stand by there decision!! the decision was i won and was wanting my refund.

 

I now cannot see how to get hold. of ebay to review.a response where i dont believe the bot or real agent actually read the whole. case.

You do not give enough information.

 

If you opened the correct case, seller would have had to provide a reply Paid Tracked Label and on proof of delivery a refund would be made. If not you simply escalate to ebay who would refund.

 

You say "I won this appeal", you do not appeal, if you opened the case correctly you cannot fail to win. 

 

If a refund has been started, the Paid Symbol would have changed to the Refunded Symbol and refund would go back to source. Depending on how you paid, Debit Card takes 7 days to go back to bank, Credit Card takes 30 days. Case would then close.
