Hi
I bought an item that was wrongly described, I had a debate with seller till I showed them the difference between what they described in the listing andi and what the newer model looked like. The would not accept it was the wrong verson ieven though the new verison had 'Alexe;' built. Eventually the seller agreed a refund, I printed out the ebay laebl, it has been tracked as delivered. Now the seller saying its at a neighbours address and they can't get it, with no refund coming forward. They are asking me to phone the Post Office as they can't help....How do I know proceed.
So long as the tracking proves attempted or successful delivery of the item back to the seller then you will get your money back. If the seller refuses to refund you voluntarily and remains resistant to the idea of giving you your money back by the time you get the chance to ask eBay to step in and make a decision upon the matter then do as has already been suggested and escalate the case to eBay. Once eBay see that the tracking proves successfully delivery of the item to the seller's address they will force the refund for you and you will get the entire amount that you paid to the seller returned to your account.
