eBay said I should receive a return label by today, but nothing has arrived. How do I let eBay know this, and do I need to return the defective items to get a refund?
A seller has 8 full days (8 x 24 hours to the second) in which to respond to an opened case or return request. If they don't, you escalate the case or return request to Ebay on day 9 (the date you can do this is stated in the case or return request). They will either supply a returns label at the seller's expense, or force a full refund without the need for return.
How long since you opened the case? If over 8 days and the seller have not responded/sent you a returns label, escalate the case to eBay and they will either send you a label or refund and tell you can keep the item.
you must do everything through the case....you must not return item without a prepaid label.....
Contact the seller they may not wish to have the item sent back, if that is the case they should refund you now.
