Missing parts not put in listing

Need advice on an item i bought. The item was listed as used and in a used condition.  Item was a prym knitting machine/loom it should have feet or legs to raise it above your table so the knitting can freely move out of the machine. The seller only had a vague description and nowhere did it state that these parts were missing but neither did is say the item was complete. The main part of the machine works. Can i ask for a refund or because it didn't state the item was complete is the mistake mine.

If the item cannot be operated correctly without the legs and the legs would have been supplied when new I don't think it's unreasonable to open a claim for not as described.
