I've discovered that an ebay seller who sold me an item over 12 months ago may be selling fake goods

I bought 2 security cameras from an ebay busines seller over 12 months ago. Both these cams have now let in water and the manuf will not honour garantees since seller is not an authroised dealer. Cams were bough new in box. I had no reason to suspect they were not legit. Seller is not answering my messeges so I suspect counterfit goods. I cant find any way to complain to ebay about a transaction that is over 90 days old.

If you're thinking of reporting them to trading standards, be careful to get your facts correct. There's a big difference between counterfeit goods and authentic items for which the seller is not an authorised dealer. Very few sellers on eBay are authorised distributors, which is when even manufactureres' warranties are often invalid for items bought here.
