I need to get a proof of purchase from 8 years ago for an ebay purchase when I did not use Paypal

I made a purchse in 2012 which I need to provide proof of purchase for and the item was not paid for with Paypal. Any thoughts on how I can do this.

Ebay puchase history is only available for the current year plus the previous two years.

If you paid by debit card, contact your bank. If by credit card, contact your card provider. You may find, though, that those transactions are only kept for 7 years max. I know of no financial institution that keeps them for any longer.

Sorry eBay purchase history goes back 2 years plus the months of this year.  Paypal even if you had it then,  only goes back 7 years.
