I left feedback for a bad seller, can they remove it? My feedback is not visible.

How is it that my feedback (neutral and totally true/fair) is now not visible on an ebayers feedback profile?

Can they have it removed? This person over charged me, sent out after ten days delay and didn't reply to a single message.

lm finding lots of negative feedback is just being removed by ebay .

l had bought an item, it was never sent out and seller didnt reply to messages. l opened a case for item not recieved. In the meantime the seller recieved two negatives for the same thing, item not dispatched and no communation. Neither feedback said anything prohibitive. But they were then removed.

Once my case was settled and l was refunded by ebay l too left a negative. l said, "item never sent, no communication from seller."

Within two days the negative feedback l had left was also removed.

At that point the seller still had eleven BIN items, and then there were nine, so two more people had bought items and would obviously have to go through the same thing, which they could have avoided if the negs were left in place.

lt seems ebay are generally removing negatives and neutrals, some say its to protect sellers from getting bad ratings if they post late due to being locked inside, but it seems other feedback is being removed as well.

Just my  take on the situation.

If you complained about the postage cost, the feedback is removeable on request, because post & packing costs are clearly shown on every listing.

If there is ever a genuine reason for a postage complaint (the seller shipped using a cheaper or different service to that stated on the listing) then you should word your feedback appropriately ('Didn't receive what I paid for' for example, without mentioning postage so that there can be no chance of feedback removal) and mark down the seller's postage star. Marking down stars is how you let Ebay know that you had a problem. Ebay use the star ratings to rate a seller's performance, and a few too many poor ratings (percentage-wise) and the seller will be suspended from selling permanently.

When leaving feedback there are rules to follow regarding what you can say and what you cannot.

Without knowing what you put it is difficult to advise you further

Can you quote the exact words you posted?

The eBay robots sometimes ‘find’ words which are not allowed, by ignoring spaces between acceptable words.

How were you overcharged? Did you pay the postage price that was quoted on the listing?
