I was looking at an item that was for collection only, but after communicating with the seller I agreed to pay postage costs. Unfortunately I pressed the 'buy it now' button instead of making him an offer (which would have included the costs for postage) and now I can't figure out how to pay him the extra we agreed. can't get past the automoated service on Paypal to ask anyone there. I can't arrange for collection myself as couriers insist on email addresses and phone numbers, which he won't be allowed to share with me as per ebay rules. Any thoughts gratefully received.
Offers cannot be conditional, postage is always on top of the offer price. Now all the seller has to do is go to MORE ACTIONS > Send Payment Details, amend from 0.00 to whatever the postage is and send. You then pay in the usual way.
