My post is awaiting "approval". Been waiting for several hours now. How long does it take for the post to be "approved"?
rusticrye, I don't see to be able to answer you on here, but I do mean my post on here, not a listing.
Thank you for the comments.
Have No idea. Shouldn't be long as long as you haven't Named or Shamed another Member in your Post?
Tobias, sorry, I thought I had stated my question clearly enough, but let me re-state it with some more detail.
Earlier today I posted something in the community Buyers section. I then edited the post and got the message that the post is "awaiting approval". The post has not appeared here, which is in contrast with this one which appeared immediately. How long does this "approval" process take? It has now been several hours. There is no reference to specific item numbers or seller name in the post or any profanity, so there should be nothing that I am aware of that should trigger a filter or need for approval.
Ok, getting confused. I didn't post myself about import fees, although I did answer someone else's question. I am simply typing my reply in the box under the post that I wish to reply to. I am not sure whether that's the right way to do it, but I see no 'reply' button. Not sure whether this will show, but this is my original question that appears to be awaiting "approval".
Posts don't need approval. As you can see, because I've just answered your post.
If you mean how long does it take for a listing to be approved, listings are not approved. Millions of listings are added every day, so there's no way Ebay can check them.
If you mean how long does it take for a new listing to appear in Search, the answer is: Up to 24 hours, especially at busy times. You are advised of this when you list your item for sale.
If you're talking about listings (?), I'm not sure why you've posted in Buying on Ebay....? The place to post about selling issues is Selling on Ebay.
