I didn't receive any item, just a tracked Hermes envelope. And I can't work out how to start a claim as Ebays says it's been delivered, but I don't have anything to return.
Seller is not responding to messages, and it looks like they have done this recently to another buyer.
How do I proceeed.Thanks
If you open a Not as Described Case the seller will have to provide a replay paid return label, and on return refund in full. If the sellerdoes not want to waste money on return postage he can just refund.
Bear in mind that only paypal funds are instant, otherwise refunds go back to source, for example Credit Card payments take 30 days.
This may be a scam by the seller, hoping you do not know how to get a refund (which is the case) but it is not unusual for empty boxes/envelopes to be received, where the contents have been stolen on route.
The tracking only proves that you received something, it does not prove that you received what you bought.
You will have to open an item as not described case and send him back the empty envelope what he sent you and make sure you send it back tracked and signed, then you should get a full refund, hope this helps.
You have the tracked envelope showing delivery so you have to open a "not as described" return. Go to "More Actions", far right of item on your My eBay Purchase History page, click on Return this item > Doesn't match description, and if necessary escalate it to eBay after 3 working days.
