I have just received what was advertised as a 'Superdry' jacket....100% feedback...seemed pretty genuine. Its quite obviously not genuine but its the response from ebay that just amazes me not the fact its a fake. THEY JUST DO NOT SEEM TO CARELESS.
Ok so im getting a full refund and i dont stand to lose anything but the "we dont really care" attitude from ebay just astounds me.
The seller has numerous other listings advertised for 'Genuine Superdry' which i am not not naive enough to believe only mine was the fake item but they still remain listed despite ebay being aware they are fake.
Numerous websites will tell you that the biggest source of counterfeit goods is not as you are led to believe your local car boot sale but ebay. If anybody cares to read the websites of trading standards it tells you that by far the majority of fake or counterfeit goods they deal with are sold on ebay.
There was a little challenge on one of the google sites....See how long it takes you to spot 10 fakes !!....Not long...it took the wife and i perhaps 5 minutes !!!. We spotted Ugg bootsand gloves by the boxful...Ralph Lauren sweaters...several perfumes...Oakley sunglasses....adidas trainers...the list goes on. The site is utterly awash with stuff when you actually look ..
I can hear you all laughing....Really !!!....where have you been hiding all these years .How do ebay not see this or is it a case of 'Lost selling fees' if they stop it ???
I would love to know what other members think or indeed know as to why this is allowed to carry on on such a vast scale.
First thing a person needs to realise when highlighting eBay and fakes compared to elsewhere is that eBay have millions of listings – how many do the 'others' have?
You say that eBay - “THEY JUST DO NOT SEEM TO CARELESS”
So why have you not warned others by leaving feedback?
