Auction and best offer

Hi I'm looking to purchase an item and the listing has a an auction with a starting price and also a best offer option as well.

My question is if i submit a best offer, can i then still bid on the item, Or is that option no longer availabkle to me?

I would put in a bid of the maximum price you would want to pay if you entered it as a offer.

Then sit back and wait.
