trying to reconcile ebay statement with bank debits

Hi

I'm looking at all the possible account invoices/statements that I can download from Ebay to give to my accountant but none of them seem to tally with the amount debited by Ebay from me bank account.

Where do I find the relevant information?

I haven't been selling on Ebay for a few years and a lot has changed!

It's the payment reports that you need to use.

They are the only ones that will tally up with your actual payments.

They seem to be a jumble of letters, numbers and commas....

I'm guessing that your downloading them as a CSV file?

In which case, you need to open it (or import into) a spreadsheet.

Without looking though, I'm fairly sure that there is an option for a PDF file on there as well.
