Message below from a buyer today that spent £338 after watching my you-tube channel that brightened my day.
So I keep repeating, it does work and get extra sales. The only cost is time. Maybe takes less time than
reading through posts here and replying.

Message me if you want any tips on getting started
"I have been watching your YouTube videos to try and figure out which (my product) we would like and we’ve finally decided. We’ve really enjoyed your detailed videos which have helped us understand (my product) so much more and we do not want to shop elsewhere after all your help.

I appreciate your posts and youtube has been on my to do list for a very long time. AI and video are my two big make use of things this year. So thank you. I needed the nudge.
Yesterday I bit the bullet and posted my first video (very short) to my youtube channel.
I'm planning to use the new eBay share listings to youtube. I think the photos from listings work as a carousel type video and it goes as a youtube short. Its showing in socials - not tried it yet though. I'm hoping I can somehow add positive feedback comments into some of the videos so they offer a bit of variety.
I need to have my main focus on areas which bring quantifiable returns but know that having a relatively up to date social presence is also an increasing necessity. Hopefully using a mix of channel auto posting and more off the cuff videos will help spread the load of being creative.
Do you have a mental list of top tips - I'm very open to any feedback if you have time?

Well done for taking the plunge.
Sorry pressed mark as a solution rather than reply at 1st 🙄
Done a few posts on how to be yourself and how to talk to the camera.
Guess with Jewellery a clean back ground and good lighting is a must.
Remember that the title has to entice with a question. The video has to
provide the answer.
Viewers only want to know about the product. They are not interested in your
back ground (harsh but true) and they certainly don`t want to be asked to like and subscribe
right at the start.
Share videos to your social pages.
BTW since my last post above.
A guy rings up to ask for further advice on a product I reviewed. He then went to
my website and spent £499.
Today at my public open day a guy spends £339. As always I asked where he had
heard about me. He said "I watch your you-tube channel"

Thank you, I will do a search on your previous posts and see which other bits I can pick up.
Questions and answer are good points. I'll reflect on that.
Glad to hear its generating sales for you. My only comparison is sporadically posting on instagram and occasionally a buyer mentions in a message 'I found you on instagram'. Not to the point, at present, it covers time spent, but I know its a touch point for buyers - social proof. Having a presence contributes towards you legitimacy as a trustworthy business.
