Yes I know I keep banging on about it, but to remind you that you-tube videos and
tutorials work and get results.
OK will not work for every one and depends on the product.
But if someone wants to find out how to use something before buying , where do
they head for. You-tube
Just to prove a point here are just a few emails I have had from buyers who
contact me after seeing a video of mine and then head to the link in the
description. Just to remind you, it costs nothing but time. The ones below
are just over the last 2 weeks + more sales where buyers don`t contact me
afterwards but I can see where the incoming traffic comes from.
Just to let you know, on all my videos I ask the buyer to email me to say
they watch the channel and I`ll put a little freebie in the box.
The below is approx £2.5k in extra sales over the last couple of weeks in addition to normal website sales
and face to face at the open days. Plus I get around £80-£100 per month
as a monetized YT channel per month. Doesn't sound much, but every little helps.
If this helps just one person get some extra sales after being inspired , then
I have had a result. This is why I spend less and less time here and less listings.
Too busy creating more video content. Talking of which have two to create today
and do the editing tomorrow.
Reminder - It costs nothing but time.
Emails from customers below.

Well done with this, good to hear some genuine positivity in these challenging times.
Whilst my items are very different and don't require tutorials etc I am going to start doing some videos after Easter.
Thank you for posting this.

Could you come back and let us know how you get on, was thinking the same - my items certainly don't need tutorials and there aren't many videos of my products.
Then again, the first salesman didn't sell shoes to the islanders because they didn't wear shoes - the second salesman saw a great opportunity to sell shoes cos they islanders didn't have any!!!

My timing was good.
Started adding lots of videos during lock down when everyone was at home
in front of the internet.
Top tip.
Watchers only want to see the product. So don`t do as I once did , and tell them about
yourself for the 1st 2 mins. Or they will get bored and leave. I cringe at my early attempts.
It is free to get started. But for a couple of years I have used paid for editing software so I
can quickly trim clips, add numerous ones together, visual effects , watermark etc.
Added a watermark as a rival started pinching my vids.
I also updated to an external mic, so I talk more natural. Even put myself in front of
the camera now. So you can see me in HD, with all my 60 year old imperfections.
My dry sense of humour in videos gets LOLs from some. While others don`t get it.
I could go on talking A LOT about you-tube so will stop there.
If anyone wants to see the channel for some ideas, send a message

"there aren't many videos of my products" ?
Why not be on the front line and make one ?.Might take time and effort but once done it's done.

Picking a random painting from your listings, you could title one something like.
"Peter J Norman Original Oil Painting. What are my thoughts, and should you buy ?"
A you-tube video title needs to ask a question. Then the viewer will have to watch
to find the answer. (and where to buy)
Most of my product views now ask a question in the title.

Hence my final paragraph - I'm onto it already!!
