You tube promoting. The intro

After another week of getting more sales from my you-tube videos, today`s

tip for those who are starting this FREE advertising , here is my take on the all

important intro.

Lets say for example you sell Lego sets and do demo set ups

How NOT to do an intro

Hi , my name is

How are you all today

Make sure to like and subscribe , like and share if you like my content

Before the watcher is half way through the 3rd line, they have left.

Reality check. They wanted to see how to put it together, not to hear

your life story. Believe me I made this mistake many times early on.

So how to start the video properly.

With the pieces all set out in front of you, say In just 10 minutes

you can go from this to this (showing an insert of the final product), so lets get started.

Plus you are even getting started as you talk.

Remember, the title and thumbnail needs to ask the question.

The person clicking on the video needs to know the answer.

Don`t forget to put the link to buy in the description.

You tube promoting. The intro

One comment I'd like to add.

I mostly watch YouTube on an app on a TV box - the descriptions and comments aren't easily visible.

I prefer to see an onscreen flash of the details too - I have to be really interested to go and view on another device to see details, it's not something I'd do casually.

A good example is travel videos, or showing the physical location of a shop where they add a map.

An onscreen shot of that as well is much better - I'm sure many other users are watching on TV apps.
